Hi everyone,
I haven't been on DA for a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG time! So, I guess i'm due for an update.
I know that I haven't put up any are for a really long time... I still doodle, but I have been really busy with my freshman year at college. I did well for my first semester with a B~average, it's not perfect, but I'm happy with it.
Right now I am on winter break, but my life's pace still hasn't really slown down. I have been so busy making three different cosplays from scratch. The days that I am not sewing I am acting as the maid (cleaning, laundry, cooking, mending ripped clothes, ect... or doing holiday stuff...

It kinda difficult during the holidays for me and my family. We have always been a real close family, but that changed slightly. Two years ago my father passes away and my family (my household and extended family)have never really been the same since. The holidays at my house used to be so "picture-esque" like you see in the movies. Holiday cookies, a beautiful tree, lots of presents and just a feeling of love in the air. But, since my dad passed, christmas has been ... different. For one thing, my family isn't really into the whole christmas thing as much anymore. It really sadens me, so I try my best to bust my butt and do my best to make christmas how it used to be before my dad died. This year (and last) I decorated ALL of our 3 storie house, I put up our tree with all the ornaments (4 boxes worth) and baked over 8 dozen holiday cookies! Not to mention I've done all of my shopping for myself and I did my mom's shopping for her. It is really hard doing the whole christmas thing by yourself! I do this all so hopefully it will bring someone else joy. I could actually care less if there wasn't anything under the tree for me. I'd much rather have someone else be happy than myself...

Anywho, I will try to get some art posted up soon. I still have a week to kill before all of my other friends get back from their colleges. Happy Holidays everyone! May they be filled with love, joy and laughter!
